German defensive end Ben Ishola led the Hamburg Sea Devils in World Bowl XV with six solo tackles, 2 sacks and 2 quarterback hurries. Hamburg was crowned NFL Europa champions after recording a 37-28 victory against the Frankfurt Galaxy.
Ishola was named to the All-NFL Europa League team after picking up three National Player of the Week Awards. For the regular season, he tied for fourth in the league in sacks with five and recorded 22 tackles.
Ishola, who played college football at Indiana, is a member of the Indianapolis Colts and was in training camp with the Miami Dolphins last summer.
