The Ravens added experienced depth by agreeing to terms with free agent linebacker Nick Greisen, league sources said.
Greisen, 28, who was a backup for the Ravens last season, will sign a three-year, $4 million deal, which includes a $1 million signing bonus. He had 38 tackles on defense and 13 on special teams. Greisen is a proven veteran that has seen time in 84 NFL games with 33 starts. A versatile defender that can play all three linebacker positions, the 6-foot-1, 244-pounder has totaled 275 tackles and four sacks during his six-year career.
Greisen started 10 of 16 games for the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2006, where he produced career-best numbers with 82 tackles, one fumble recovery and one interception.
Originally drafted in the fifth round of the 2002 draft by the New York Giants, where he spent four seasons, Greisen saw action in 54 contests with New York, starting 21.
